What is XmrBazaar
XmrBazaar is a peer-to-peer classifieds marketplace built exclusively for Monero users. Launched from the Monero Talk podcast community and publicly open since 2024, it functions as a bulletin board where buyers and sellers post listings across categories including physical goods, digital products, services, rentals, jobs, classifieds, health, business listings, and auctions. The platform does not process payments itself; instead, it connects parties who settle directly in XMR using built-in optional escrow tools.
As of 2026-05-30, the site displays a live XMR price (1 XMR = $396.85 at crawl time), supports global region filtering with country-level granularity, and maintains a forum for community discussion, bug reports, and ToS violation reporting.
How no-KYC is it?
XmrBazaar is fully no-KYC. Account creation requires no email, no phone number, and no identity documents. The signup flow auto-generates a random username that users may keep or customize, plus password and message keys for encrypted seller communication. This aligns with a "Guaranteed no KYC" classification.
The platform's terms explicitly describe its privacy posture: user data exposure is limited to what is technically necessary for escrow operation. No traditional financial KYC pipeline exists.
Privacy & security
Privacy architecture centers on Monero's inherent anonymity plus platform-level minimization. The terms section "HOW THE PLATFORM PROTECTS USER PRIVACY AND IDENTITY" details stored data scope. User messaging uses generated keys rather than email-based identity.
Security tools include:
- Optional 2-of-3 multisig escrow with mediator arbitration
- Bond system for seller reputation (green trust levels reflect bond status per third-party analysis)
- Forum-based scam reporting and community moderation
ScamAdviser rates the site "likely safe" with a reasonable trust score, noting valid SSL, multi-year domain history, and mainly positive reviews, though flagging low visitor volume and cryptocurrency-related risk categories. Trustpilot hosts xmrbazaar.com reviews with a 3.9/5 average across 8 ratings per kycnot.me data.
Payments, fees & limits
XmrBazaar is Monero-only. No Bitcoin, Lightning, fiat, or altcoin payment rails are integrated. The platform itself appears non-custodial for standard trades; escrow uses on-chain Monero multisig rather than platform-controlled wallets.
Specific fee structures are not detailed in the crawled pages. The escrow guide and bonds guide provide workflow documentation but do not quote explicit percentages. Users should expect standard Monero network fees plus any mediator or bond costs set by counterparties.
User experience & support
The interface offers category browsing, search, region filtering, and auction listings. A changelog page previews upcoming features: additional translations, more privacy coins for "Anon Bazaar," API for automation, and alternative frontends.
User experience signals are mixed. One detailed product review (blog.monerica.com, October 2025) praised received goods quality but noted search weaknesses, manual TXID requirements, and slow vendor communication. The forum shows active community engagement with 124+ posts including scam reports and bug threads. A third-party mediator essay (November 2025) described real-world escrow friction around wallet sync issues and user support demands.
Who it's for
XmrBazaar suits privacy-conscious individuals seeking circular Monero commerce without centralized exchange KYC. It fits users comfortable with P2P risk self-management, willing to verify counterparties via bonds/escrow rather than platform guarantees. It is less suited for those wanting instant checkout, fiat on-ramps, or large mainstream marketplace inventory depth.
KYC & privacy
No account required at all.
XmrBazaar enforces a strict no-KYC policy with no email, ID, or phone required at signup. The platform stores minimal user data and uses generated message keys rather than persistent identity. No privacy incidents or data breaches were found in the 2026-05-30 evidence review.

Verdict
XmrBazaar is a specialized venue for privacy-focused users already holding Monero who prioritize KYC avoidance over convenience. Compared to general marketplaces, it demands more technical involvement and counterparty diligence, but offers genuine no-KYC trade infrastructure unavailable on mainstream platforms.

clean signup, no email hassle. bought hardware via escrow and mediator released funds same day. exactly what monero circular economy needs.
anon_trader
solid concept but search is weak. found my vendor by paging through categories instead of search box. escrow worked fine once i figured out cli steps.
privacyfirst
only marketplace i trust for no-kyc physical goods. bonds system helps filter serious sellers from fly-by-night accounts.
xmr_only
seller took 4 days to respond and i had to manually paste txid. product arrived but communication stress was real. one vendor experience though.
sat_stacker
good escrow docs and screenshots. not the fastest ux but i'd rather slow and private than instant and doxxed.
cypher_punk
mediator was polite but wallet sync issues dragged escrow out for weeks. platform can't fix monero blockchain bloat but be warned.
escrow_vet
run two seller accounts with bonds. green trust level definitely moves inventory. forum tipping for helpful posts is a nice touch.
p2p_skeptic
inventory smaller than ebay obviously. check seller bond status before any direct pay without escrow.
